Honestly "cohost url but it still previews 18+ posts; does not preview CWs" would be a very good feature.
The correct thing to do would be to put it in the suggestion forum. And I probably will! I'm still overdue for putting in a "please do not make dramatic color changes to the site without an opt-out button" ticket/thread/whatever.
i did, five months ago! it mostly got attention from someone who seems to think that clicking the "show porn" button is a form of legal requirement and identity verification
people in general have a really playground-rumor idea of how porn on the internet works, which makes any kind of public conversation like this instantly exhausting
Ahh I need to go upvote that idea later. Thank you for doing the hard work.
