what does this mean. is triforcing a verb. apparently you do it by posting a picture of the triforce
or like does the triforce even exist any more, totk seems to have kind of overwritten that lore,

Very old foggy memory, but triforcing was using unicode spacers and triangle characters to make a triforce in your post. I never knew why it was a thing other than "woah cool. video games"
yeah but it'd remove the spaces if you used normal spaces, so you had to use one of the weird unicode spaces for it to work
my theory is, it makes a funny result if you do it incorrectly, which could be due either to user error or to the website doing something silly to your whitespace. so, many people found it either surprisingly easy or sufficiently funny to fail at triforcing online, and many other people found it irresistable to judge whether or not something passes or fails on an arbitrary metric
Wasn't it just an internet version of post hole or left handed screwdrivers?
There are references to the triforce in various in-game things (Hylian heraldry, mostly, as well as the hand gestures made by the Great Plateau shrine monks), but it's not been shown directly in BotW or TotK. Zelda still has the Triforce of Wisdom powers but it isn't stated by name.
