i love this because firing the bfg at the floor or ceiling to force the tracers to go off instantly is in fact a minor exploit you can do in a port with vertical mouselook

this is why nearly every port disables vertical bfg aiming (though you can still do basically the same trick by aiming horizontally at a nearby wall)
