troublesome fox girl

hello i like to make video games and stuff and also have a good time on the computer. look @ my pinned for some of the video games and things. sometimes i am horny on @squishfox

ok how do i DM. or email. or write a polite letter. i want to get the attention of @eevee and ask how attached they are to their handle. i feel like a boomer having a nine-letter username on here already. i can offer *checks pockets* two dollars in change and a respectable piece of lint

You must log in to comment.

in reply to @lexyeevee's post:

I don't think mentions in posts notify people, but mentions in comments might. We don't have DMs yet, we might never? But people are rallying behind a 'business card' feature where you can put contact info up or send it to others. Also, that user seems inactive so they might be not very attached but on the flip side hard to get a hold of

There's a certain element of... "please spend time off our website and contact through other mediums" to a lack of DM function, if the other comments are anything to go by. Which in a way I can kinda respect, but also that does make finding out how to contact through other means a bit finickier.

Yeah my second thought was encryption/privacy on the part of cohost. For one, Mastodon's DMs aren't even private. They're basically standard (timeline) posts that are simply only viewable by the mentioned users. (And admins.) ... okay that sort of sounds like they're private but they're like, logistically different?
