there's probably some proprietary freeware alternative that's not too bad
Get some of those fish that sharks let swim into their mouths and clean their teeth.
PLA filament, or you could even modify a 3D printer so you can stick your face in it and program it to print something that incidentally flosses your teeth. I definitely understand mechanical engineering.
