troublesome fox girl

hello i like to make video games and stuff and also have a good time on the computer. look @ my pinned for some of the video games and things. sometimes i am horny on @squishfox

this art feels janky in a way i can't quite put my finger on¹ and i don't know how i want to animate it exactly

i really wanted to have a playable demo done Real Soon Now, but it needs a couple important cutscenes to cap it off, and 80% of that is design and art work, and those are definitely the things i am slowest and least cool at, and i can't really do anything else until i get through this, and bbuhugurhuhbuhrguhrug

¹ maybe that they aren't to scale? should they be here? also the shading just feels inconsistent in a lot of places. and lop's eye is kind of fucky...

I'm not sure if they need to be to scale, but maybe it feels weird that Lexy takes up more space than Lop? I think for me personally, what makes it weird is that my eye wants to interpret Lop in the background to make sense of them being smaller, but then both are "in front" of the black "horizon" which creates a kind of broken perspective. I'm not 100% positive about that, just my intuitive read.

it's good, you've probably just been staring at it for too long. some specular highlights on Lop would probably make the shading a bit more consistent. i think the characters should also the behind the letterboxing? that's how i've seen it in most fighting game intros
