there must be some incredibly cursed reason they got rid of the pots of gold, like orange dye going up a fraction of a cent per metric ton because of the war in Ukraine

I feel it is important that semantically (if my memories of the original commercials are correct) the balloons were supposed to be hot air balloons. There is unfortunately no hot air balloon emoji. Interestingly, there is also no zeppelin/airship/blimp emoji. The airplane continues its hegemonic control of our collective subconscious
