edit: it's in keyboard shortcuts > plasmashell > activate application launcher

this is always the first thing i have to turn off in any DE
i so frequently muck about with modifier keys while i'm thinking, or consider switching desktops but then change my mind, and having a menu i never use pop up every time is so God Damn Irritating. one of the specific things i liked about switching to linux in the first place is that pressing alt on its own doesn't steal the focus!
im always so indecisive these days about going back to an absolutely minimal "DE" that's just like a lightweight window manager and a collection of convenience programs for like setting wallpaper and resolution vs. highly integrated DEs that do a lot but you have to fight truly bizarre defaults until you forcefully beat it into something useful
i don't actually have a useful answer here, it's just like. yeah.
I've always had the opposite issue where I want super on its own to open the like, start/whisker/whatever menu, but XFCE has a bug where it prevents other super shortcuts from working.
Ie: Trying to Super+T for the terminal will open the whisker menu when you release it.
Really annoying and idk how to fix it other than swapping to a different key combo for the whisker menu.
For a while I had a bug where Shift+Backspace, instead of Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, would kill the X session. This is a combo I press quite often by mistake. I don't remember how I fixed it...
