A regular property blocks attribute writes unless a
setter is defined. In contrast, a cached_property allows writes.

Having one of those moments where I'm like, wait, @cached_proeprty is new? and then finding out that it was only added in 3.8, so of course I'd expect it to have "always been there" since I only started really using Python when 3.6 had just come out and I'm sure it took me a couple years before I had any reason for that functionality
