Oh ok there's a convenient gesture on my touchpad for "navigate back and delete the multi-paragraph post i was writing because i tried to move the mouse cursor but a second knuckle briefly touched the pad". What a timesaver

i think it started a right click, opening a context menu, moved slightly down-right, and released after a bit of time, effectively pressing back button there
no it's definitely a two-finger gesture. there's even a visual effect for it. and i have tap-to-click turned off, i don't know how anyone stands it
huh, TIL.
kinda useless now, but if i want to write something slightly longer, i do it in text editor and later copy-paste it. not just for cohost but any website
Well, if you manage to figure out how to reproduce this gesture, you can try turning off mousebutton.4th.enabled and mousebutton.5th.enabled in about:config. I have those turned off because I keep accidentally hitting my mouse sidebuttons and getting sent around randomly. It's possible the trackpad is using the same system under the hood?
(This is for Firefox which iirc is your browser of choice?)
