troublesome fox girl

hello i like to make video games and stuff and also have a good time on the computer. look @ my pinned for some of the video games and things. sometimes i am horny on @squishfox



the more i talk about this game — which is happening a lot more often now that people have played it and want to talk to me about it — the more i realize a couple things:

  • i don't want to make a puzzle platformer, exactly. i think that suggests a game that's just one long string of puzzles. i want to make a platformer that has puzzles in it. i want the puzzles to be a seamless ambient thing that ebbs and flows while you're running through the world — the same way a mario game has enemies sprinkled throughout, but you wouldn't call it a combat platformer.

  • i also want to make a platformer that's full of toys. i have all these little funny mechanisms designed to interact with each other in interesting ways, and while they are well suited for building puzzles, they're equally suited for building contraptions. just a little thing you can set off and watch, or play with to see what happens. in fact i want the line between "toy" and "puzzle" to be so fuzzy that players who might otherwise avoid puzzle games will solve puzzles without realizing they're doing it.
