C++ is so obscene I'm pretty sure it passes all three prongs of the Miller test. I get how we got here, but... honestly, how did we get here?? Why does this shambling corpse of a language persist to haunt those of us unfortunate enough to lay hands on it? Sure, every new feature had perfectly reasonable motivation, and yes, each individually makes the language better on some axis, but at some point you have to take a step back and ask: is this thing worth the untold person-hours of effort that go into it?
I swear, C++ itself is the best argument for Rust radicalization. If it were an actually reasonable language I wouldn't need Ferris to be my therapist.
