(the title is a joke. this is an original hardware render, but it's not a TAS; the whole bit is that you leave the controller untouched during the level. it simply randomly desyncs at different points on real hardware, perhaps because it's relying on certain determinism from older emulators? or maybe i'm wrong and i need to do a frame-perfect RNG manip with the timing starting the game and/or entering the level)
