The latin means "it follows therefore it was caused by" and it's a logical fallacy. I had a weird comet friend that said it was one I committed describing relationship dynamics. This is sort of a sequel to Veritas Odium Parit, except that instead of a photo this started with a diagram of the sort of binary star system that regularly novas.
