2008 - 3x3ft oil on mixed fabric. I think of this as the first in this style, which was essentially taking the model mashup compositions and adding a lot of garishness and invented high-affect Stuff. The second image is an in-progress picture I unearthed. I think I'll be pulling more from those, they're really cool to see and I haven't looked at them basically since I took them. Finding these also made me realize I had the order of the past dozen or so posts wrong. I was doing a whole lot of different things at this time which is also super weird to think about, this mid-grad-school moment being probably my most prolific.
