So while we're here self-mythologizing, let's look at college assignment I already used to do a retrospective of all my identity-forming fantasies that I touched on only a little at the beginning of this chost series. These are only half of them. I did each in a different medium reflecting what I was working in or learning at the time they recall. So there's my imaginary friend Sarah moving between her centaur and mermaid adopted families and transforming between them. There's Aqua Maurine bodysurfing the big wave of my dreams in watercolor, and her giant family exercise in character design based on colors as names. In scratchboard, a refugee gas person spirit from the comet that hit Jupiter implanting itself in me when I was 9. And finally in pencil my alien-human hybrid OC in what was basically Jupiter Ascending but way more about teen bullying.
