a fun thing about the casual drop-in-drop-out multiplayer in D4 is that you'll sometimes be running through a random part of the world, see a bunch of tiny piles of gold in a line headed somewhere, and know that a Treasure Goblin has been there at some point

A couple times now, I've entered an area to find enemies with lingering poison debuffs, recently left by a nameless wanderer on more important business than ensuring a handful of goatmen were dosed with an adequate amount of toxins. What a world

it's pretty good! still early-game (level 30, middle of act II of the campaign) but there's nothing obviously wrong with it

most distasteful thing so far is the real-money cosmetics shop but it's thankfully distasteful to the extent of being a thing I never look at and no further

I'm playing a Barb! mostly using Frenzy + Whirlwind because it's the most brain-off specialization I think is available. played Necro during the early access and had fun, will probably roll a Necro once I finish the campaign!
