When I left games journalism I just wanted someone, anyone, to take a chance on me as a level designer. Inkle did, and together I think we've made something really special.
For me this is the total package of an Inkle game. It's got really cool narrative systems that are exactly as transparent to the player as they need to be. It's got great thematic decisions that are supported by the narrative systems. It's melancholy and wistful, joyful at times, weird and surprising. It feels like hiking an unknown landscape. A great story.
