a Polaroid Pathfinder 110a modified to take Instax Wide film via a Lomograflok and a bunch of 3d printing.

I'm using this conversion design by acornelissen and it's worked very well for me, although I'm currently having to reprint the viewfinder cover due to some minor fitment issues (skill issue on my part).

it is difficult to overstate how fucking massive this thing is. "unwieldy" is putting it lightly. it would probably be easier to manage if i still had the hand strap on the left side, but it had fully degraded into dust from being in a florida attic for near 60 years.

i'm also still having a lot of trouble figuring out the viewfinder offset, so all my test photos are nowhere near what i was trying to photograph. (they're also all blurry because i guess i calibrated infinity wrong? who knows) (also they're all from my immediate neighborhood and i don't want to dox myself)

EITHER WAY once you get past all the negatives (huge, heavy, difficult to aim) it's a really tremendous camera. works great. it's been known for a while that instax is held back by the lowend cameras that fujifilm puts out but that putting it into something good can give great results.

looking forward to getting everything dialed in more and getting a better feel for using it. i've had this project on my plate for well over six months now and god it feels good to finally have it in a mostly-done state.
