i had an absolute freak out last night because i couldn't find where my cat Pumpkin was hiding. I have borrowed a recliner from my friend to use during my recovery, and while in the chair i could have sworn I felt her scratching at the leather for a moment, and later felt the little vibration from when she does a big stretch. But i COULD NOT SEE HER behind or under the chair. This was made more difficult by the fact that i am 2 days post top surgery so not the most mobile. But she wasnt meowing, she wasnt in distress, and eventually after like an hour and a half she sauntered out from underneath the chair and i was like HAH I WAS RIGHT but also where in the hell and how in the hell was she INSIDE the chair??? I was so worried she would somehow get squished by the mechanism of the chair but clearly there is enough empty space in there that she can just chill no problem. Cats are not solid states of matter
