so, i usually sing tenor but we were low on sopranos for a simple part that maxes out at C so i volunteered, cuz falsetto is fun sometimes. Its Slippery People by the Talking Heads, btw. Anyways, during rehearsal last night I was singing "He's alright, the lord won't mind. He's alright love from the bottom to the top" and I bit the side of my tongue by accident. Not a thing that happens very often for me when singing or talking. But then just now I was singing it to myself, that same part, and I bit my tongue in the exact same spot!! Why?? Is it the falsetto? Is it the vowels (switching between a lot of ee's and aa's)?? It was such a weird deja vu.
