Not sure how to pitch this review of I Saw The TV Glow and The People's Joker--I do explain the endings but how many times can I do the "ending explained!" shtick? Really it's about what makes these films such important pieces of queer cinema, and why they hit me so hard, personally.

a local friend's takeaway from TV Glow was "wow, someone sure took the Joss Whedon thing hard" and bitch, what. levels of watching-movies-wrong off the charts on this one.
