@spiders asked:

what do you think of the Try Agains? like just on a visual level. are you planning on getting some?

oh i already have some! i like the design a lot, is very cute. the wetness indicator is fun and i really really like how there's a lot of character designs and they're not just all the same

the large size barely fits me, and i have to get the tapes just right. an XL would be nice but they don't have plans for it. as long as i don't fasten the tapes too tight they're really comfy tho

i really like the feel of cloth backed diapers, but if i go too long without a change they soaks through even though it never actually "leaked", and it gets my onesies wet if i'm not wearing a cover. the TryAgains dont do that and im really happy about it

they also work better with boosters than ABU stuff

I'm pretty fond of them too :> They feel pretty nice and are designed in a really fun way, and I really like how the cloth-backed plastic is really wetness-resistant and almost feels pleated between your legs sometimes; it's a texture I'm not used to, and it's pleasant! They also feel real cozy when moderately damp.

I think my only iffy-factor is when they're extra wet, it feels like the filling is mostly SAP and less fluff, so it seems like it might get a little clumpy if you can't change right away

i don't particularly mind this, but also if i'm that wet i'm probably wearing a latex diaper cover which helps managing that (the pressure from the elastic kinda evens everything out)

That's fair! :> I think I'm just used to the kinda quilted hybrid filling that the old Peeks and a couple other favorite brands used to have and the texture of the heavier-SAP blend is just feels odd in texture by comparison imo. It's definitely not like a terrible thing and they're still great for sure~
