data is spotty out here in the campground and i'm having trouble uploading pictures. please turn your mind's eye upon the following:

[picture of a harsh badlands landscape, with a forest clustered around the river running through the middle of it. the biomes aren't really incongruous, but they're different enough that it looks kind of like how open-world videogames have to compress space. like you can be in the Canyon Zone but the Forest Zone is easily visible from it, close enough that you can take like a ten-minute walk over and get a quest from a elf. anyway it's like that and also the lighting is much less favorable than the first picture of the set despite being basically a much wider view of the same landscape]
