What a crazy movie. So much more performance than I expected, like most of the movie honestly. A bit ill-equipped to discuss all its references and such, but they were everywhere in really fun ways. Music, things they do during performances, all kinds of cool stuff.
Also, Avu-chan's & Mirai Moiriyama's vocals were INCREDIBLE.
For sure recommend it if want something really interesting and fun from start to finish.

A movie that's so much about being on the outside of the norm, in tons of different ways, and choosing to adapt and bring those things into yourself for the better. I think some movies would've made conflict or issues out of the specific changes within the characters, but they only embraced them and came out BETTER.
The world around them instead strangles those notions and forces them out, sticking to the most basic and easiest forms even if that means dismantling things unique and beautiful.
The last performance all the way until the end was just stellar. I could hardly speak if I wanted. Those dance scenes alone were incredible. I wasn't for sure after the first performance if it could keep that style and stay super entertaining. I was so wrong, they topped it every time.
