Yep. I also think it needs it per-user, not just the whole timeline.
It's happened more than once that I'm interested in someone's original posts but they share an extremely high volume of things I just have zero interest in (or even if they are interesting, the volume is too high to keep up with and buries other users under it)
I know this place is still being developed by a relatively small team and no website is complete on launch (twitter didn't even have retweets for the longest time) so I'm hopeful that functionality to better curate your own space will be built out
Indeed. I am the same thing, I am more interested in the ones I follow and friends than I am interested in what they are interested in... my interests tend to be rather shallow.
I hope so as well, since current option is to just mute those who reshare excessively. Had to stop retweets on Twitter for the most part since it was often I would see a dozen retweets at once.
I also would very much like to see this feature, because there are people I would like to see there own posts of, but not the ton of shares without comments they are doing, it's messing up my timeline ๐
