The last month I've been trying to explore other avenues of talking about games, like maybe Youtube and including a diegetic Beastiary Beas podcast of characters talking about games. Buuuuut none of it is really working out
It turns out right, that a writer, who enjoys writing and has been writing for a majority of their life. Yeah, their strengths, right, turns out to be... Writing lmao so probs just gonna go back to that!
So hey, I'm Autistic right? But in a way which people usually describe with a really horrible term I don't like, so I call myself "Dependant" and I'm learning as a push outside of my comfort zone the walls of my disability that I didn't even know were there. Due to my processing issues, being entertaining, or even interesting via improvised speech isn't happening for me. My brain can't process whatever magic is needed for that in time for it not to be profoundly awkward and not fun!
I think for being able to do anything "live" like a podcast or streaming I deffo need someone to lean on (before my Masters exploded, I was literally doing Lingusitcs research which pointed to that funnily enough lol) so for this avenue it's looking like a no-go and I'll need to do scripted stuff if I wanna do stuff about games
Like it's ffiiinnneee, you never know your limits till you try stuff! And this has got me interested into radio drama stuff maybe??? I'm trying not to get bummed out about it and think of it like the things that'll work are being narrowed down!
But I also can't help but notice that people are more receptive to this kind of stuff, if they're already like doing improvised stuff. Like I don't mean that as in wanting fame, but when you cream into the void, sometimes it's nice to hear something back you know? lol
EDIT: I'm not fixing the typo, I AM creaming into the void, always.
