So just to clarify work on the next short story is going Very Well! We're past the half way point and I'm excited to release it as a kind of "Valentines Story Epilogue" which it's kind of ended up being! As well as set up for the next Part¹ of the story. Like despite everything below I'm gonna finish it!

But I'm having a bit of a crisis of weather or not like the written word is a good medium for telling the story? Something I'm noticing about this story I'm writing at the moment is that my god it's dialouge-y lmao and Valentines Story was already SO CHATTY with dialogue and it's just worse here at story number uno of part 2 like... Hmmmmm lmao it's deffo only gonna get worse for sure and I'm not sure how enjoyable that is for: Book form.

If you're seeing this post I wouldn't mind some insights on this! Should something that's like 70% dialogue be more enjoyable as a Visual Novel or Audio Drama thing? Or is it fine if The Fic/Book At Little Chatty? Or should I reserve short stories for stories that don't have to bear the burden of explaining lore and establishing characters? I've already decided to make some of Beastiary Beas stories little games via Decker anyways so the boat's been pushed out on making this thing mixed media like. Any advice would be welcome!
