Where else are we all? I have a SoFurry and a currently non-active Pillowfort??? I've still not nested in any Furry spaces in earnest cos I dunno where my queer autistics are at lol
I might attempt to make Schlaugh work for me, but I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea!
I liked Pillowfort but fell out of using it, between the site being hard to use on mobile (a necessity since we often have to lay down) and the followers/following counter always being prominently visible.
Oh Schalugh looks manic haha genuinely feeling like the Yang to this websites Yin. I'll try and give it a go!
Also same on the Pillowfort front. I say to myself it's not a dealbreaker to work on mobile but my account is gathering dust lol
As someone who was a paid user of both, I would be incredibly surprised if Pillowfort outlives Cohost. Pillowfort has felt like a fucking ghost town for ages.
Oh nooooooo that's such a bummer to hear, even tho I am literally helping cause that by not logging on lol
Speaking strictly on the financial front, Pillowfort has been getting by on a monthly budget of less than $10k, which is more achievable a revenue goal than $46k. How much they actually bring in seems to vary from month to month, but since they implemented the donation tracker I don't think it's ever been as low as Cohost's 11%.
