Only one of them has a Switch sadly! Also would vastly rather recommend a more approachable entry like the Untolds/V/Nexus then the DS originals (thus Origins) which honestly can be a hard sell as someone's first EO imo!
my apologies if you've already played the EO1-3 remakes and know this, but they seem to have all been updated with modern conveniences like improved movement speed, strafing, auto battle, auto mapping (walls only mode OR walls+floor mode), and multiple difficulties (you can change at any time).
i recently played EO1 for the first time via this collection (i played the games in this order: 2, 3, 4, 5, Nexus), and it didn't feel as if it was missing much from my memory, besides quests not giving XP and FOEs being substantially different in challenge and XP from the rest of the series
so like, yeah these don't have the story mode features from the untold versions, but the gameplay engine feels like the Untold versions, to my memory
anyway, please pardon the intrusion and my apologies if this is stuff you already know. i see so few people talking about etrian odyssey that i'm just excited to see it mentioned :)
hopefully these remakes sell well and we can get more of the series remade, or even a proper successor franchise to the series (i think the EO games are so DS specific that we could benefit from a clean break that continues the spirit rather than the exact details)
