if you make art (by which I mean any sort of creative work or endeavour), it can be ABSOLUTELY unhinged if you want. give it a try! make something unhinged. remove those hinges! use metaphors that make sense only to you and nobody else. if it fits in your head, it fits on the page. do it. dooooooooooo it!
