its monday morning! you know what that means: time to remember that in spite of everything there is a lot of good in the world but more importantly there will always be opportunities for us to do good in the world, both for ourselves and for people around us. "the world" is not somewhere far away; it starts inside you and continues outward in every direction. it's in your body, it's in your bedroom, it's in your kitchen and your car. it's on the block you live on, it's in your neighbors and the houses and trees and the water nearby. its everything you can see and touch and you can make it a little better today. you have the power to change the world for the better just by eating a green vegetable or picking up a piece of trash outside. "be the change you want to see in the world" starts with how you treat yourself, and those in closest proximity to you. today i'm going to clean my room

I took my old toilet seat from where it was sitting in the hall and put it in the trash.... a better world is possible
