Been thinking about how artists with intentionally amateurish art styles (Like mine, I dunno how else to describe it lol) and artists with hyper-realism art styles always attract each other somehow. My biggest hype-men have always been hyper-realistic artists!
I think it's like a combo of the shared experience of Capitalism devaluing our labour (Intent-Amatur doesn't sell, Hyper-real isn't efficient) and both artists desiring the skill set of the other. It's like the classic perfect basis of a partnership haha
