considering you generally have two hands to look at whenever you want it should be easier to draw them I think

Fun fact: this is actually (one reason) WHY hands are so hard to draw! You're constantly seeing your own hands, so you're very familiar with what hands look like, and therefore you're more aware of it when the hands you draw don't come out looking as accurate to real hands as you would like!

The issue is that the only orientation you have available without additional tools is your own pov, and of course you can't just hold that pose while drawing.

I got a webcam back in 2021 to do home office work and since then I lost that job, but the webcam came to be the single best investment other than my drawing tablet itself for my drawings. It makes taking good ref pictures SO easy

The only issue is that sometimes I'm a bit too lazy to actually use it lol, so you might see some of my drawings have better drawn hands than others asflçasfg
