Pulsar from our system! Ze's a fictive of Ford Prefect from Hitchhiker's Guide. Yes, we already have one of those (Venn). This is the version our Arthur fictive remembers from his canon-divergent timeline.
Pulsar is very canon-divergent, too, with the most visibly obvious difference being that they are goth, which is an extremely common trait in my system but that I have never seen in a Ford headcanon.
Another difference is that this version of Ford was born on Earth! The psychiatric explanation is that they had delusions about being an alien, but they disliked being reality checked on that. (This is the timeline that was set entirely on Earth.) They are, however, fine with being referred to as otherkin or alterhuman.
Once we started drawing other Hitchhiker's Guide characters who were born on other planets, Pulsar wanted us to draw zem with the features we draw Betelgeusians with (i.e. their eyes, teeth, and noses are Like That). Ze gets what ze describes as "species euphoria" from seeing themself depicted as obviously non-human.
