An elaboration on what I mean when I think the Ghost fandom won't like my interpretation of Omega:

The main/only reason I ship Terzo and Omega in the first place is because I'm portraying the relationship between the fictives of them in my system. However, they're canon divergent in a lot of respects, and my portrayal of their relationship would be affected by that.

One of the biggest things is that "Omega Ghoul", in their timeline, was not a name (as the fandom seems to treat it as) but a title that Papa Emeritus (the title of the leader of the Church of Ghost) bestowed upon a Ghoul that was basically like an advisor who is also responsible for playing guitar for the church's band.

While the actual events that my Ghost fanfictions would portray are not affected by this difference, the relationship between Terzo and Omega is.

In my fictives' timeline, they remember playing doom metal together starting in the 90s and going all the way until Terzo was appointed as Papa Emeritus in 2014-2015. If the timeline that's accurate to the band's real-life history is being used, then either they were separated for a period of time in ~2009-2014 while Omega was working with Primo and Secondo (because the actual musician who became called as "Omega Ghoul" was there for the band's first and second eras as well) or they just didn't have that history at all.

Maybe I'll try positing "Omega Ghoul is a title" as a headcanon in my Ghost server (not the one we were excited about getting into unfortunately. I think I scared them off by telling them what else my Ghost ships have in them.) and if people hate it then I'll go with what the fandom likes but if they like it then I might go with what my fictives remember.

The thing is, I just can't really talk about anything meaningful about Terzo/Omega as a ship until I figure that detail out (other than things that would just be me talking about my fictives as alters instead of fictional characters which is not what talking about a fictional ship is for). So basically my ability to publicly talk about asexuality is dependent on how cool the Ghost fandom is with systems writing fics of their fictives' timelines. Do you see my struggle.
