because who else could i, lockon stratos, have possibly started with? i built this guy in july of 2023 as my very first foray into master grades, and it was an EXCELLENT build. the only trouble i recall having with it was a minor snag on the GN cables by one of the elbows, which i chalk entirely up to my inexperience. i remember being really enamored with the teeny tiny 1/100 scale haro that sits with equally teeny tiny 1/100 lockon in the cockpit. i'm still enamored by this. a haro the size of a single grain of sand
i can't quite remember what i was using the green sharpie for. presumably to color in a clear part, maybe on the rifle scope...? the microns were my attempt at making green and red panel lines since those colors don't exist as actual gunpla-marker-brand panel liners. the dark green worked decently, the dark red not so much. pen tip wasn't fine enough, i think.
if i could go back and build this again, i'd definitely be painting all the yellow bits in gold. a small change, but i have an undying vendetta against yellow plastic on gunpla and dynames would just look so much prettier with a shiny gold v-fin...
