i will admit at this point that while i have watched (and thoroughly enjoyed!) all of gundam build fighters, i am actually kind of a hater of build fighters try - EXCEPT for their gunpla designs. those are almost universally way cooler. and with that in mind, the transient glacier! i thought this variant on the transient gundam (which i've also built) was p-bandai exclusive for some reason but apparently it's just a regular ol' high grade. the more you know!
largely a straight build on this one apart from some very minor decorative touches with a metallic violet gundam marker (notably on the v-fin). hard to improve on perfection - this kit is GORGEOUS. as a warning: working with all those clear parts would have been a lot tougher without the random purple archival ink pen i picked up to see if it could panel line. (answer: kinda!) the ink happened to near-perfectly match that purple plastic, which meant i basically didn't have to worry about nub or stress marks on it at all. turned what might've been a tricky build into a breeze!
i remember being really surprised at the lack of stickers on this kit - it's literally just the eye stickers and one or two individual color-correctors. i'm used to GN condensers following the translucent-color-over-reflective-sticker method for that really nice glowy effect, so i was in the rare position of wishing i had more stickers to work with rather than less. i ended up just coloring those condensers in myself with a silver paint pen, and that did the job just fine.
