aka Ecopla Exia, aka Neon Purple Exia, aka Setsuna F. Seiei's MLG Pro Gamer Rig Exia.

you know how anyone who's ever built a master grade exia (and even some who haven't) will tell you up and down and sideways that god, dear god, if only bandai would please please just come out with an MG 2.0 for it already?

i get it now.

build woes aside (and there were Quite A Few. so many of the parts in this kit are less "snap-fit" and more "press-and-pray-fit"...) this kit is at least lovely to look at, as all exias should be. the black pieces compose the titular Eco-Plastic of this ecopla kit (the purple and clear parts are all just regular ol' ABS), and as a material it's perfectly fine to work with. there's a little bit more of a matte finish on it than typical black plastic, which is nice. makes it really hard to photograph properly, though - this kit looks even cooler in person, trust me.

the GN sword, like all of eco-exia's weapons, was pure black out of box, but i thought that looked kind of boring so i whipped out my Gundam Marker EX Holo Silver and had myself a grand old time. i also marker-painted exia's eyes in metallic green so they'd be a little more visible under all that black. very happy with the results! holographics are so fun.
