mouthful of a name (negative), eyeful of a mobile suit (positive), it's seed freedom's black knight! ...or at least one of them, evidently? here's my great(?) and terrible(???) gundam confession: i've never watched any of gundam seed and i probably never will. but that doesn't stop me from appreciating the hell out of its mobile suit designs, so here we are!
this guy, considering he's from a movie that literally just came out a few months ago, is brand-spankin'-new, with all the delicious modern plastic engineering that entails. the build on this one was fun, the articulation is fantastic for a high grade, and the overall silhouette is SO cool, especially with that snazzy beam cape. i did a little bit of painting with some tamiya silver leaf spray - all those shiny silver parts are just a matte light grey out of box, which i thought needed sprucing up - but honestly the colors are pretty damn solid already. very shadow the hedgehog. i love it.
the stickers on this kit sucked ass. i refuse to speak of them further.
neither of those gold hands i used here actually come with this kit - i took 'em both out of my increasingly overfull spare parts box. i believe they're a couple of the hands that came with my livelance heaven. the actual hands that come with this kit are just typical high grade holding-a-weapon fists with gold fingers and black backing.
