seriously read this article. what the fuck. why would anyone allow their vehicle to collect so much invasive shit about them and sell it. if a piece of software did this people would be rabidly angry about it but so few people talk about the PII that cars harvest

usually the in car assistant and infotainment devices come with a cellular modem.

I think companies should be required to include data sales as a line item in investor reports at the VERY LEAST, but alas.

Now I'm just wondering what fuse I have to disconnect from the fuse box to disable it phoning home at all. None of the "connected" nature of the car is even useful in the first place.
