I find non-American depictions of America fascinating, like a little peek into an alternate reality where US culture has had some of its fundamental (often pretty stupid) pieces swapped out. The cyberpunk dystopia of Night City has better public transit and more functional mixed-use zoning than most real US cities, and basically zero mandatory parking wastelands
