Startpage works as an extension for Firefox, for anyone who uses it as their default web browser.
I guess right now, if I can't find it with Wikipedia or another known good site, I won't find it.
Could you elaborate on what you're switching to. Kagi, searx, udm14, other? I'm desperate for something that actually works.

It works pretty good. What I like best about it is you can use its own private wrapper(idk what to call it.) to see the pages you click on without leaving the search engine/inviting any of the other website's own cookies onto your page.
