I've been uh. clawing my way into music creation. very slowly but recently been getting a bit more often into it
it's fairly easy for me to take a melody in my head and make it real, but the process of building upon it is so awkward and I unwieldy... so far at least
I have a theory that if I can figure out what chords go best with each part of the melody I should be able to make the accompanying stuff more easily? like I can take parts of the chord and make a "secondary" melody and bass
this does require a bit more music theory knowledge than what I still remember but I've been looking into it!
as for percussion, I guess the solution I have so far is "copy or fuck around and find out"
