last piece is really interesting to me in retrospect, because in style its very much in line what i was trying to do by the end of highschool, but compared to my attempts then, it looks much nicer, and the execution much quicker (3 hrs vs a week)...its kind of relieving? ive had lots of anxieties regarding what i want to do being incompatible with professional work, but its a bit of a reassurance that yes, i can achieve a clean finish if i want to, i can apply my knowledge to do better
