so here it goes

So back in 2017 when I was still on tumblr, I started a little webcomic thing called Nhimor's Blob Adventures. It's about a little germ creature on an adventure in space, telling us about his home system of Zoincailla - which is also the same setting I use for a large number of my other stories, including the video game Copy Kitty.

The comic pages generally consist of 1-2 illustrations per page, interspersed with various characters in-universe chattering with one another in dialogue boxes, revealing various fun lore details about the world they live in. The concept for this comic arose organically out of a yearly challenge I had been participating in for a couple years prior, called Worldbuilding June, which was a prompt-a-day thing for the month where people would post new snippets about their fictional world each day.

The original tumblr page that blob adventures started on hasn't been updated in years, but the comic continued for a little while on a dedicated section of my website. Then 2020 happened, and a whirlwind of major life changes later, I found myself unable to bring myself to update the comic anymore for the longest time.

...until now...!

For the first time in a couple years, I've finally published a new update to Blob Adventures! This is page #57 of the comic overall, and continues where things left off, during Nhimor and Nlthb's visit to the floating sky city on their home planet Syndomera.

The comic pages' layout has been updated quite a bit, making the dialogue read much more clearly and just generally improving the presentation. Also several small edits have been done across the script itself, keeping everything mostly the same while improving the flow and coherence of the writing between pages, and adding some additional details or lines here and there.
