first day of cohost and I am relieved that this website is so anti-analytics and anti-algorithm. my page feels like my own house instead of a glass display case and I am physically unable to concern myself with getting people to look at me.

It's so tricky to know how to reach out and find things. Like. The tags are good, but if you don't happen to be using the big meta ones, is discoverability a thing? Then again, I mostly just consume/reply, so, I dunno.
It’s really refreshing, reminds me of the way things used to be online! That said, I think the site would benefit a lot from an option to run a kind of message board-like community which could be associated with certain tags. Then it would be perfect
Cohost doesn't seem to have discoverability in the modern social media sense. That has its downsides, but I think there's something to just making fun or interesting posts and relying on others who bookmarked your tags to share it with more people if they like it. Anyone trying to make it big here would have to try to appeal to human behavior instead of trying to appease a computer algorithm.
