General Cohost UI and QOL things I would like (not necessarily requests but just random notes as someone more used to Tumblr and Twitter and has wrist problems.)
- Search bar on the top of the screen. More intuitive, and I don't have to scroll up and read through the list on the sidebar every time I want to do a search.
- Feed button on the sidebar and not exclusively on top of the screen. I feel as if the design philosophies of the feed button and search button were switcheroo-ed.
- Floating sidebar that follows as you scroll.
- Unified page feeds and a primary/side page system. Not strictly necessary but I don't like to get confused whenever I switch pages or accidentally interact under the wrong username.
- Option within the post/repost comp menu to post to a different page than the one that is currently active.
- Quick repost shortcut so I don't have to scroll to the bottom of a post twice to repost it. (Is there already a shortcut for this? Idk)
- Next post/previous post shortcuts for wrist-friendly scrolling. (Useful for getting past a lot of junk posts or posts you've already read. Next page shortcuts could be nice too since Cohost only has a few posts per page.)
- Ability to collapse comment threads.
