Deadpool & Wolverine was decent and I don't wanna assume the politics of the production team, but the intermittent 'wokeness' jokes don't really work with Deadpool's brand of irony-poisoned humor, methinks. Deadpool is by nature not a shining example of morality and optical progressiveness, but his quips shouldn't sound like textbook examples of Schrödinger's asshole, where apparently Wade's fully serious if you agree with his literal words, fully sarcastic if you disagree, and post-ironic if you think you're above it all. It's just spineless comedy and character-writing that sticks out like mold spots on an otherwise solid script.
