Lots of wildfires in my area rn. The air outside is filled with smoke and I can smell it in my house. Right now I don't have to evacuate, but it's all very anxiety-inducing.

Now I'm currently under a shelter-in-place warning because the smoke outside is so thick. Humorously, the biggest concern on my mind is whether I'll still have to work tomorrow.

By now I've watched Air Bud multiple times for the sake of taking notes and finding new details to point out. What I haven't done before today is watch it with the 2009 Buddies Dog-U-Commentary. And, uh, this commentary contains some wild implications about the Air Bud Cinematic Universe. (Aside from the talking dogs, of course.) But that all will be left unaddressed until I approach the Buddies era itself so I can write about Air Bud as a standalone film. It's just good to have a set of notes hinting at where exactly this series is going.

Some cleaning of the future film area (my bedroom) has been done today. I'm recovering from an intense depressive episode, so unfortunately I am stuck with the consequences of past-Looka's actions (letting my room become a biohazard). However, this project has been a good motivator to push through the rough patches and recover more smoothly, even if I'll have to spend a few more days chipping away at my own mess.

It's been years since I've actually watched a VHS tape, so I have a question: Did VHS movies tend to have bonus content or featurettes that would play after the credits? I would assume not because of the linear play format, but if there may be something worth preserving and discussing on these VHS tapes, I might go through the effort of digitizing them.

What if we just treated this place and the folks in it like neighbours in a neighborhood.
